Because handmade presents are infinitely superior to store-bought ones, I made these lovely little bracelets for my friends for Christmas/birthday gifts. (I know that Christmas was a long time ago. But I am too proud of how well these turned out not to blog it!) Thanks to mollychicken for the inspiration.

Calculating
Once, in a book, a character said,
“When you’re missing someone, you’re not just missing them.
You’re missing the person that you are with them.”
If I took the pieces that feel subtracted from myself,
would they add up to you?
I’m not really sure.
