The Dead Sea is 1300 feet below sea level, so it’s virtually impossible to get sunburned. The water is so salty that it stings your skin. If you accidentally breathe some in, it can kill you because it’s so concentrated! Also, you can float and read the Jerusalem Post in its saline waters.
